A new research by the University of British Columbia demonstrates that instructors don’t have to test anything they want their students to bear in mind — as prolonged as the information they want to express matches with each other well, and the check queries are properly-decided on.

Researchers asked far more than 150 2nd-calendar year pharmacy learners to examine a 67-slide PowerPoint file about gastroesophageal reflux illness and peptic ulcer disorder — a topic relevant to their studies but not but included in the curriculum. Each individual slide contained “bullet factors” typical of slides utilized for university lectures.
