What Makes a Good Video Game Companion? ➣ RagnarRox

Video Game Companions like Dogmeat or Elizabeth can make a game unforgettable or turn them into a chore. So what are the rules a game designer, writer or developer has to obey to make a great sidekick?

Let’s look at good and bad examples from games like Dogmeat from Fallout 4, Bioshock: Infinite, The Last Guardian, Goldeneye 64, The Last of Us, Banjo Kazooie, Portal, Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill 4, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and learn from masters of storytelling like Naughty Dog or Fumito Ueda.
