Webcam Astronomy – With Real Video

Simple guide how to do it – with real video.
Aimed at the amateur astronomer with access to a telescope with an RA drive who would like to be shown how get a decent image of the planets without spending a fortune.
Real time video is used from my own scope (10″ Meade LX200 Classic) so you can see whats going on and what you need to get a decent image…
This idea with a web cam has been around for years but still a lot of observers do not know what to do or how to do it and its always a lot easier when you are shown how to do something so this could be for you.
I hope this will help you – you can then try your hand at getting a good planetary image – its not hard and the results can be fantastic.
Have fun and when you get a result send me a copy of your first picture
