Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic have received the French Open up for their to start with Grand Slam title in women’s doubles.

The No. 6-seeded pairing from the Czech Republic defeat Eri Hozumi and Makoto Ninomiya of Japan 6-3, 6-3 on Sunday.

Krejcikova and Siniakova, who are equally 22, were being participating in in their fifth important event jointly.

Siniakova was the doubles runner-up at previous year’s U.S. Open up with a unique lover.

The unseeded Hozumi and Ninomiya were being the initially all-Japanese duo to attain a Grand Slam remaining in women’s doubles.

They knocked out the major-seeded pair of Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic in the quarterfinals.
