Tina reported she did not return the cabbage to the retail store, but instead saved in her fridge ‘as proof’.

And she added: ‘We’re just switching our full way of taking in from now on. We have performed a big obvious out from the cabinets.

‘We are now hunting for the best nearby farm shops to get all our fruit, veg and meat.’

Tesco have been approached for remark.
