UNITED NATIONS (AP) – Kuwait is urging the U.N. Stability Council to condemn Israel’s use of power towards Palestinian civilians “in the strongest phrases,” especially in the Gaza Strip exactly where far more than 110 Palestinians have been killed by Israel’s army for the duration of Hamas-led protests.
A draft resolution acquired by The Connected Push early Friday also phone calls for the council to consider measures “to ensure the basic safety and safety of the Palestinian civilian populace,” together with as a result of deployment of “an international defense mission.”
The draft circulated by Kuwait, the council’s Arab member, needs that Israel “instantly stop its navy reprisals, collective punishment and illegal use of drive against civilians, such as in the Gaza Strip.”
