4 police arrested in Mexico more than disappearance of Italian men
MEXICO City (Reuters) – 4 police officers in western Mexico have been arrested on suspicion of abducting a few lacking Italian men for nearby gangsters, condition prosecutors explained on Saturday.
The three males reportedly went lacking on Jan. 31 following being detained by police at a gasoline station in the municipality of Tecalitlan in southern Jalisco condition, the house of Mexico’s 2nd most significant city, Guadalajara.
The Jalisco attorney general’s business office said four Tecalitlan police officers, three guys and a female, had been held on suspicion of carrying out the forced disappearance of the Naples natives Raffaele Russo, Antonio Russo and Vincenzo Cimmino.
Jalisco attorney basic Raul Sanchez stated the arrested law enforcement officers had advised investigators they had been ordered to hand around the 3 adult males to a area felony gang.
Authorities are however making an attempt to track down the Italians, and investigations are continuing, he told a news convention.
It was not crystal clear why the police had been advised to abduct the males.
Jalisco is household to the Jalisco New Technology Cartel (CJNG), 1 of Mexico’s most highly effective drug gangs and just one notorious for infiltrating the law enforcement. Sanchez could not say no matter if the Italians experienced been handed over to members of the CJNG.
