A few armed guys sporting balaclavas are on the run from law enforcement soon after allegedly robbing a bowls club’s security guard at gunpoint in broad daylight.
It is believed the males had tracked the guard from Tugun to Southport, on the Gold Coastline, as he gathered takings from two licensed venues on Monday morning.
Chris Stewart from Queensland Police explained the guard experienced previously used the same route to accumulate takings from the clubs, 9 News reported.
‘The offenders might have known the route he works by using,’ he stated.

The adult males allegedly rammed the guard’s unmarked Holden Astra in a stolen Lexus as he was leaving Musgrave Hills Bowls Club right after gathering cash from the location around 8:45 am.
